Eleven Was Going To Die In Season One Of Stranger Things But Thanks To Netflix That Didn’t Happen!

The Duffer brothers – the creative geniuses behind Stranger Things revealed some shocking news this week. It turns out the character of Eleven ( played by Millie Bobby Brown) was originally going to DIE in season one when the show was first pitched as a limited series.

During a Q&A event at Chapman University, Ross Duffer explained that he had a plan for Eleven’s demise on the show.

“Maybe I shouldn’t say this because I like to pretend that it was all planned out, but it was originally pitched as a limited series,” he explains.

Ross adds, “So it was like, Eleven was gonna sacrifice herself and save the world and then that was gonna be it, because there was a moment where limited series were a big deal.”
