Last Friday (Aug 18) was a dream come true for Tegan Marie. The 13-year-old was given the opportunity of a lifetime and performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage for the first time. For an aspiring country singer, there is no greater honor than to perform at the Opry.
It was a special moment highlighted by the fact that Tegan also announced that she has signed a record deal with Warner Nashville. Trevor Decker News had the chance to get Tegan’s reaction to these two life-changing events.
“I am honestly still in shock. As if starting my day announcing signing to Warner Music Nashville and getting to spend the morning with my new amazing family wasn’t enough, but to end it performing in that circle at the Opry for the very first time was truly surreal. Dreams really do come true!!! Thank you to everyone who have believed in me” since day 1!
