Thanks To Outcry By Fans – Christina Grimmie Receives Teen Choice Award!

Published

on

Last Summer members of Team Grimmie were furious when The Teen Choice awards failed to acknowledge the late singer’s win in the category of “Choice Web Star: Music”. Things turned from bad to worse when the show also failed to mention Christina Grimmie in a tribute to people who lost their lives to Gun violence.

Many people felt it was disrespectful considering Grimmie was shot by a crazed fan at a meet in greet on June 11th, 2016.

Upset fans took to social media demanding that the award show apologize for using Christina’s nomination as a publicity stunt.

Now here we are nearly a year later and Christina has finally received her surfboard. The Grimmie family took to Christina’s official Facebook on Tuesday saying.

#TeamGrimmie thanks to you, we recently received Christina’s 2016 Teen Choice Award (Surfboard) for “Choice Web Star: Music”. The Final Video In The Ballad Of Jessica Blue Is Here (Without Him By Christina Grimmie)

Published

on

It’s a new month here at Trevordecker.com and a lot is happening. Stranger things season two is coming, there’s new music to be discovered, the AGT finals are approaching and so much more. Don’t worry though Team Grimmie we got you covered and we’re here to bring you the final video in The Ballad of Jessica Blue.

The song is without Him off of Christina’s EP Side A. The video picks up right where deception left off. Jessica  is preparing for her long-awaited showcase and a Gentlemen who seems to be her mentor tells her what her friend told her in the Snow White music video

Follow your feet where your heart takes you

Jessica is then seeing walking up to a venue. On the marquee, it reads Jessica Blue. She takes the stage and is met by a roaring crowd as the song begins. You can’t help but smile because Christina looks right at home and her stage presence is impeccable.
When she hits the high note in the song it’s the greatest thing we’ve seen in a music video. Seriously we dare you not to smile.

These four videos prove what we already knew. Christina truly was one of a kind. A beautiful soul that will truly be missed but her talent will never be forgotten. Christina is alive in our hearts and will be remembered for generations to come. \|/

The 3rd Music Video In The Ballad Of Jessica Blue (Deception By Christina Grimmie) Is Released

Published

on

If you followed Christina Grimmie’s YouTube channel ZeldaXLove64 at any moment of her life you might be aware of the fact that Thursdays  were known as Grimmie Thursday. Every Thursday Christina would give us either a new cover, new song or a random vlog, so it’s only fitting that for the last 3 weeks these music videos have been revealed on a Thursday, so Happy GRIMME THURSDAY EVERYONE.

Deception picks up right where Anybody’s you” left off. Jessica’s mom is doing her daughters makeup. While this is happening she says something to Jessica that we find very profound.

Some things you can never loose once you find them. Your voice is one of them. It’s yours Jessica.

Then the video cuts to  Jessica in a studio. There are lyric sheets scattered on the floor and in the middle of the room is a piano. This is the setting where the entire video takes place with a few cuts back to Jessica and her mom in between.

What’s so cool about this is that anyone who knew Christina knows that she was right at home with the piano and let us just say once she starts playing it’s hard not to get emotional. Seriously Christina was one of a kind.

Without Him which will serve as the final music video in the mini-series will be released next Thursday on September 1st. There’s still a few unanswered questions most notably “How will Jessica do at her showcase”? So hang tight guys and we’ll see you next Thursday.

The 2nd Video In The Ballad Of Jessica Blue Is Released (Anybody’s You By: Christina Grimmie

Published

on

It’s been one week since the first video (Snow White) in the Ballad of Jessica Blue series was released. To say that it was an emotional roller coaster for Team Grimmie would be an understatement.

Now here we are one week later and the 2nd (Anybody’s you) of 4 videos is ready for our eyes and ears. Prepare yourselves, get comfortable and get the tissues because odds are you’ll need them.

The video picks up right where the first one left off. We see Jessica (played by Christina) get into her car and drive to a mysterious building that’s all kinds of artsy.  There’s a moment where she sings on the foot of the staircase and another where there’s just a wide shot of her standing in the hallway… It’s beautiful really.

Eventually, Jessica finds herself at the rooftop where her boyfriend Luke is seen with another woman (who’s also played by Christina) then there’s this really tense moment where both girls lock eyes with one another and Christina hits those high notes we all know and love.

The video then cuts to Jessica at home. She’s visually upset and is packing her things. Here we have a conversation between her and her mom. Her mom asks what is it, Jessica? To which she replies ” I don’t know. it’s not my boyfriend,  it’s not my crap paying job, it’s not my showcase because everyone knows I’m going to bomb that too. Maybe it’s me. Then her mom says “it’s always us Jessica”

The whole scene is pretty intense and in it Christina definitely shows off her acting chops. The video cuts there and now we patiently wait for the 3rd one (Deception) which will be released August 25h via ZeldaXLove64 on YouTube.

In an interview, Christina once said that in her career it was her mission to inspire. Well, rest assure you beautiful soul… Mission accomplished

Teen Choice Awards Didn’t Air Christina Grimmie’s Win, Doesn’t Include Her In Gun Violence Segment

Published

on

Fans of Christina Grimmie are furious with producers of FOX’s Teen Choice Awards after they decided not to air her win for choice web star music and didn’t include her during a segment honoring victims of recent shootings.

Although it is true that not every award at the TCAs is announced on TV, Choice Female Web Star and Choice Male Web Star were broadcast.

The show reportedly “chose not to mention Christina’s name during the two-hour broadcast,” a source close to the late singer told Billboard. “The fans have a right to be upset.”
