Last week Bindi Irwin and dancing partner Derek Hough took home the mirror ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars and since then Bindi has become one of the most talked about contestants to ever win the show. In fact this win seems to be the catalyst that will skyrocket her to instant superstar status.
Bindi is at least US$230,000 (A$320,000) richer after winning DWTS Tuesday night, but that is just the beginning of her earnings. It is being said by experts in the industry that the wildlife conservationist will likely rank up many more endorsements in the coming months.
Sean Pickwell from Waterfront Entertainment Marketing told Daily Mail Australia that Bindi Irwin had brand appeal even before her win but now she has international potential. He went on to say “Now she’s really on the map. The big money is in global deals and I’m sure she’ll be well sought after – she’s a wholesome, great girl with a lovely personality and super talented. Middle-America would really love her
Celebrity manager Mark Markson agrees. He even went as far to say that any company would want her for endorsement deals, even companies like Apple or google. Markson also believes that a simple tv appearance could earn the Australian native millions of dollars.
Of course with instant fame comes it’s fair share of rumors. The most recent one regarding the Aussie who captivated the hearts of millions is that she is tying the knot with boyfriend Chandler Powell
The original report came from new idea magazine stating that “the couple is madly in love and can’t wait to make things official. The report also stated that the ceremony would take place in organ California the same place where Bind’s parents were wed. Since then the report has been confirmed as false by a representative at the Australian zoo.
Bindi recently returned home and she was all smiles. People were congratulating her on her DWTS victory all throughout the terminal and she was all smiles. As far as the earnings from her win go, they will be donated to the wildlife conservation. She said ” we donate everything back to wildlife conservation, So everything that I make goes straight back to wildlife conservation, which is really wonderful.”
“But what’s interesting is after you pay tax to everything else, with Australia and all these other places, that actually it doesn’t add up to be that much, she laughed. “So it looks to be a good number, but it’s not actually that much.”
Following her win Bindi took to Twitter to thank all her fans for their support on her journey saying “I am speechless I can not tell you how much love I have for all of your support throughout this beautiful journey.
