Hidden Gems in Music: Chasing Satellites

It’s a new month which means it’s time for a new artist to be featured here on

This month we bring you an artist from Santa Ana California known as Chasing Satellites. Chasing satellites is the new solo project from K Enagonio. K is a female screamer/ YouTube content creator who formally fronted a band by the name of Mourning Lilith. K decided to part ways with the band after they decided to take on a heavier sound.

Now the lovable Youtuber with an amazing set of pipes is back and boy is it good. Chasing satellites released the first new single also titled Chasing Satellites on Halloween Night and since then has racked up 2 thousand views and the numbers are still climbing.

Yes chasing satellites is on the heavier side as far as sound goes and we realize screaming doesn’t appeal to everyone but the lyrics alone are worth a listen. One lyric in particular that sticks out is when K sings “I’ve been cast astray for what seems like my whole life and all I know is when your gone you won’t be by my side, so tell me tell me do you know that I’m still here. I’m telling you that I’m not coming back from this. because you walked away, you’ve taken my borrowed time, you thought I would stay I need to walk away.”

K not only has the talent but an awesome personality to go with it. She’s one of those kind souls that deserves all the success and more. If you like the track you can download it on iTunes here
