New Film “Faith, Hope & Love” In Theaters March 15
Rom-Com story of Two Broken-Hearted People Who Discover a Second Chance at Romance Through a “Pro-Schmo” Dance Contest.
Film Stars Peta Murgatroyd (DANCING WITH THE STARS), Robert Krantz, Corbin Bernsen and Natasha Bure.
Ellinas Multimedia announces the release of the inspirational rom-com feature film FAITH, HOPE & LOVE coming to theaters on March 15th.
The film stars Peta Murgatroyd (Dancing with the Stars), Robert Krantz (Back to the Future), Natasha Bure (Hallmark’s Switched for Christmas), Corbin Bernsen (L.A. Law), Ed Asner (Lou Grant), Nancy Stafford (Matlock), Michael Richards (Seinfeld), M. Emmet Walsh (Blade Runner), Aria Walters (“Malibu Dan the Family Man”) and Maks Chmerkovskiy (Dancing with the Stars).
FAITH, HOPE & LOVE shares the romantic journey of dance instructor, “Faith Turley” (Murgatroyd), who has recently divorced her unfaithful husband and enters a “Pro-Schmo” dance contest to raise money and save her dance studio. She becomes partners with Jimmy Elpidas (Krantz), a widower father, whose two daughters have coaxed him into entering the contest.
Audiences cheer on the couple as they overcome personal obstacles, relationship resistance and discover a renewed passion for their lives, their dreams and their faith through the beauty of dance. The film features original dance numbers choreographed by Murgatroyd and her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy.
“They both connect emotionally; they just fit together like a jigsaw puzzle,” says Murgatroyd, who makes her film debut. “They are guarded and shut-off people because of what has happened to them. But then they confide in each other and rediscover the beauty in their lives.”
For Jimmy, who is trying to raise his two daughters, that means putting to rest memories of the past while opening himself up to the promise of the future. Jimmy surprises Faith with his unspoken dedication towards winning the contest.
For Faith, it means rediscovering God in her life, as she is comforted by the example of Jimmy’s faith. When she’s not teaching him hip-hop, ballroom and Latin numbers for the contest, she’s joining Jimmy at a weekly Bible study at his church, led by his pastor (Walsh) and a wise longtime parishioner (Asner) who sense the romantic sparks between Faith and Jimmy before they do.
“Those who have seen the film have repeatedly said it’s a film they have been looking for and how wonderful it makes them feel about life,” says Krantz who stars in and produced the film. “My goal was to reflect life and give audiences hope – especially those Christian families that are trying to keep their faith and their marriages going strong, and that are trying to raise their kids the right way.”
Directed by Robert Krantz and J.J. Englert, the film is rated PG. Additional information is available at the web site www.FHLMOVIE.COM.
The film is distributed through ArtAffects, a boutique distributor for faith and family films, formed in 2003 as distribution consultants on Icon’s The Passion of the Christ.

Macaulay Culkin Featured In “Home Alone” Google Assistant Ad
Kevin McCallister had to fend off two bumbling burglars all alone on Christmas in the iconic 1990 movie “Home Alone.” If only he’d had a little help back then.
Now, 28 years later, Macaulay Culkin is reprising his role as Kevin McCallister, fending off burglars in a new ad. But this time help has arrived — in the form of his Google Assistant.
Google recreated scenes from the holiday classic in a new ad released Wednesday. Culkin, as McCallister, wakes up home alone once again and asks Google what’s on his calendar. “You have the house to yourself,” the virtual assistant replies.
He then goes through his day at home as usual, this time using Google Assistant to order more aftershave, set reminders, and speak to the pizza man at the front door – of course telling him, “Keep the change, you filthy animal.”
The ad quickly went viral as it was shared by “Home Alone” fans across social media. And there appears to be some strategy behind Google’s movie choice – search interest in “Home Alone” increased 1,900 percent last Christmas, CNET reports. The film hasn’t lost its relevancy nearly 30 years later, and Google is only helping to bring it into the 21st century.
